OK we discussed Digital Voice Modes at our April Work Session

As was discussed for DMR follow Brandmeister for TS and TG.

The following is what I found that might be useful.

MD-380 Yahoo Group

TYT-Tytera Yahoo Group

ircDDBGateway Yahoo Group

ircddb Yahoo Group

xlxd-star Yahoo Group

There are many System Fusion Yahoo Groups but our repeater uses the ysfgateway developed by Jonathan Naylor, G4KLX

All of the software for the digital side of our repeater is here https://github.com/g4klx

The Echolink node is using Openrepeater and if we wanted to we could use this for the analog side, but we are just using it for Echolink.

Yaesu System Fusion Google Search

We also discussed Hotspots.

Most commercially available Hotspots can use mmdvmhost for control.

One Hotspot that is being developed for DIY is the mmdvm_hs.

This can be built with a RF7021SE Module and a Blue Pill STM32Duino and here is a DIY Board to put it together

I will add to this list if I find anything else that is helpful.

Of course D-Star and Yaesu System Fusion are pretty easy to find information for.

If you would like to use Experimental Firmware with your MD-380.

Experimental - Travis Goodspeed, KK4VCZ if you want to use your own setup.

Pre-Built Firmware - Easiest route.

Virtualbox Appliance - to create your own. Note VHF doesn't have large enough space for user cps.

I came across this page that has another way to install experimental firmware and explains the features of said firmware.

Modifications for Retevis RT3 / Tytera MD-380 (?)

The new repeater when installed is now going to have XLX reflectors for DMR.

To use them you make a private call to 4001 to 4027 and then to disconnect make a private call to 4000.

Once you connect you use the reflector via TG9.

It will also be connected to Brandmeister as well as DMR+
